These terms are the agreement between you and D2D Reviews ("we," "us") for using d2dreviews.com and everything on it. By visiting the site or posting to it, you're agreeing to them. If you don't, that's fine — but then the site isn't for you.
What this site is
D2D Reviews is a place where current, former, and prospective workers share their experience of door-to-door companies as workplaces. The reviews and discussions here are personal opinions and firsthand accounts. They are not statements of fact that we've independently verified, and a rating on this site is not an endorsement or a warning from us — it's the accumulated view of the people who left it.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 18. The site is intended for use in the United States. To post anything, you sign in with Google; you're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google login secure.
The rules for what you post
Most of this comes down to one idea: write about your own experience, honestly, and don't use the platform to go after a person. Specifically:
- Write from real experience. Reviews should reflect your own time as an employee, contractor, or applicant — not secondhand rumor.
- Don't name individuals. You can describe a company, a team, a role, or a situation. You cannot name a specific person — a manager, a recruiter, a coworker. This is the line we enforce most strictly, both to protect people and to keep the site defensible.
- Opinions are welcome; false statements of fact are not. "The hours were brutal and the pay didn't match the pitch" is fair. Inventing specific events that didn't happen is not.
- No harassment, threats, slurs, or doxxing. No posting anyone's private information, and no content that exists mainly to attack rather than inform.
- Keep confidential things confidential. Don't post trade secrets or material you're under an obligation (such as an NDA) not to share.
- No manipulation. One person, one voice. Don't run multiple accounts, coordinate review campaigns, or post on a company's behalf while pretending to be an ordinary reviewer. You may post a maximum of two reviews across the entire platform.
Your content
What you write stays yours. By posting it, you give us permission to display, store, and distribute it on the site so the platform can function. Reviews are shown either anonymously or under your name, whichever you choose, and you can edit or delete your own at any time. If you delete your account, we keep your reviews but strip your identity from them and label them "Former Member" — the Privacy Policy explains why.
Moderation
Anyone can flag a review with the report link on it, and we review what gets flagged. We can remove or redact content that breaks the rules, or suspend accounts that break these rules. We try to be fair and consistent, but we're not obligated to host anything, and we don't promise to catch everything immediately. At launch, moderation is handled by a small team by hand.
If you represent a company
We don't take a review down simply because it's unflattering — that's the nature of an honest review site, and companies don't get to edit their own scorecard. No one can pay us to change, hide, or reorder reviews or rankings. But we do act on content that breaks the rules above, and we take factual accuracy seriously. If a review names an individual, contains a false statement of fact, or otherwise violates these terms, email legal@d2dreviews.com with the link to the review and an explanation of the problem. Tell us what's specifically false or non-compliant, not just that you disagree with it, and we'll look into it promptly.
The fine print, in plain terms
The site is provided "as is." We work to keep the information useful, but because it's made of other people's opinions, we can't guarantee that any particular review is accurate, complete, or current, and you shouldn't treat the site as professional, legal, or career advice. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on what you read here, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. If you post something that breaks these terms and it causes us a legal problem, you agree to cover the resulting costs.
Links to other sites
The site links out to company websites and career pages, including through our contact links. Those destinations are run by other people, and we're not responsible for their content or their practices.
Ending access
You can stop using the site and delete your account whenever you want. We can suspend or close an account that repeatedly or seriously breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll give clear notice of significant changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
